CIP Award

Mohammed Jahangir Alam, chairman of Crown Cement PLC, has been recognized as
Commercially Important Person (CIP) for his outstanding contribution to the export of
merchandise and services and the economy in 2021. Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi handed
over the CIP card to Mohammed Jahangir Alam at a function at Sonargaon Hotel in the capital
yesterday [25 June 2023]. It is mentionable that in the cement sector, Crown Cement is the only
company that has won National Export Trophy three times, and the company remains in the
top position in cement export for 20 years.
