As part of corporate social responsibility, M. I. Cement Factory Ltd. (Crown Cement) accorded a reception to Mohammad Tariqul Islam, a 13-year Bangladeshi boy who recently won the top prize at 21st Dubai International Holy Quran Award. In recognition to his outstanding performance, Additional Managing Director of Crown Cement Md. Alamgir Kabir Islam handed over a crest, certificate and financial assistance to Islam at a program in the headquarters of Crown Cement in Dhaka today [August 19, 2017].

Crown Cement Group signed a supply agreement with China Harbour Engineering Co. Ltd. at The Westin hotel in Dhaka on September 7, 2017. Under the deal, Crown Cement will supply cement to the Dhaka-Khulna N8 Road Improvement Project (Package 7), which is being constructed by the China Harbour. Engr. A. Majid Chowdhury, advisor of Crown Cement Group, and Mr. He Guanjian, project manager of China Harbour, sign the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations in presence of Additional Managing Director of Crown Cement Molla Mohammed Majnu, among others.

Chairman of M. I. Cement Factory Ltd. (Crown Cement) Mohammed Jahangir Alam and Managing Director Al-haj Md. Khabiruddin Molla recently handover a crest to Actor Mahfuz Ahmed, who won the National Film Awards 2015 in the best actor category, in recognition of his outstanding performance in Zero Degree. Additional Managing Directors of Crown Cement Md. Alamgir Kabir and Molla Mohammed Majnu were also present, among others, at a function at Le Méridien hotel in Dhaka on July 29, 2017.
